Setup

setup.pl is a small program written in perl to help configure basic Shurdix’ functions. It is also used in shurdix:install.

• type setup.pl in the command line

• TAB: switching between windows
• UP/DOWN: switching between menu points or fields
• LEFT/RIGHT: (only in the right window) For text fields, moves the cursor, for list fields, change the selected option
• ENTER: only works on Save, Abort and Quit, with the obvious results

Don’t forget to save after changing any fields, if you just go to a different menu point, unsaved changes will be lost.

This is basically a frontend to functions described in other parts of the documentation. You are free to perform the changes with vi or any other editor.
