Like in Red Hat, Shurdix’s services are controlled by using the script “service”. The syntax is:
service name_of_the_service command
name_of_the_service can be one of the following:
service update start - automatically updates kernel and Shurdix’s core
Every service understands the commands start, stop and restart. The additional (if available) commands are documented on the wiki page of the service.
Certain
services are automatically started on boot. Others have to be set up in /mnt/ramdisk/services:
